Taku River Tlingit First Nation

The Taku River Tlingit First Nation is located in the small community of Atlin, B.C., which is approximately 50 km south of the Yukon border. Their traditional territory spans over 40,0000 sq/km and covers an area in what is currently known as B.C., Yukon, and Alaska. Given their proximity, Taku River Tlingit are closely connected with Yukon First Nations.

They maintain close ties with neighbouring inland Tlingit Nations – Teslin Tlingit Council and Carcross/Tagish First Nations — and often work alongside Yukon First Nations to advance common priorities.
