14 Aug Working Group Committee Members Needed!
Join AFN Yukon in planning a pilot graduation ceremony to celebrate the achievements of Indigenous post-secondary graduates. The Advisory Working Group will consist of six post-secondary students from the Yukon who identify as Indigenous or are Yukon First Nations (YFN) citizens.
The working group will collaborate to share expertise and dialogue in developing options to ensure that all Indigenous Post-Secondary students in Yukon and outside Yukon have equitable access to an Indigenous Post-Secondary Graduation ceremony, fostering cultural identity, values, and ceremony, while also contributing to better self-esteem, health, academic performance, and overall well-being.
